By Garth Stein. Amazon had it on sale recently and I bought it on a whim. Turned out to be one of the best books I’ve ever read.
If you like dogs, cars and racing, read this. It is 1:20am, I just had to finish it.
I laughed many times, and I think some onions were cut around me as well while I was reading it.

I brought it with me to work one day (I sit behind a desk and take money, so when im not helping a customer for 30 seconds I can do whatever)
Finished it all within 8 hours. Terrible idea reading at work though. I didnt think id be able to hold together for a couple scenes

I always want to recommend that book to dog lovers, but it can be depressing at points. Still I liked it a lot. And my dog is named after the main character, Enzo, because my dog has extra toes and the character wants opposable thumbs.
I was able to convince my wife to go with that name since she loved the book and we made the extra toes connection, but at the same time I still get to feel like I named our dog after Ferrari.
I can always tell car guys, because when they hear my dog’s name, they say, “As in, Enzo Ferrari?”

it’s a good one for sure. would recommend it to any car person, and even to non gearheads.

I read it a while ago, it’s a great book. I’d recommend it to anyone on Oppo for sure.

It is sort of like Marley and Me - awesome and cute, but very sad at moments.

I have read that book. It really made me think about how fortunate I am. I have my motoring dog, we adventure but thankfully I have been free from litigation. Must read.
